Week 7 NFL Pick’em

Apologies for the tardiness, but, believe it or not, I have a life outside of fantasy football. Crazy, right?

Last 2 weeks have looked pretty grim for me, but I’m still holding the lead on Jordan by a single game. My Girlfriend’s Little Sister has been making quite a push and is a week away from breaking .500. Dare I say that this week actually has multiple locks? I probably shouldnt, but I still will. I picked the team that should pretty obviously win. Naturally, there will be some surprises, so hopefully my small upsets will be the only shockers in week 7. I could use it.

Overall Total 51-39 50-40 44-46
LW Total 7-7 9-5 8-6
Andrew Jordan MGLS
CIN @ ATL ATL ATL CIN
WAS @ CHI WAS CHI CHI
PHI @ TEN PHI TEN TEN
JAX @ KC KC KC KC
PIT @ MIA PIT PIT MIA
CLE @ NO NO NO NO
STL @ TAM STL STL STL
SF @ CAR SF SF SF
BUF @ BAL BAL BAL BAL
ARI @ SEA SEA SEA ARI
OAK @ DEN DEN DEN DEN
NE @ SD NE NE SD
MIN @ GB GB GB GB
NYG @ DAL DAL DAL DAL

According to Yahoo, 4 of my picks qualify as upsets. Washington over Chicago, Philly over Tennessee, STL over Tampa, and Green Bay over Minnesota. None of these are real shockers, but I’d say that Washington over Chicago is my upset of the week. The Bears can pull together a good game if they click, but I dont think they are there yet and Washington rolls out with another ugly win.

Lock of the Week: Seattle over Arizona. In 3 games, Max Hall has 253 passing yards, 0 TDs and 2 picks. Weapons like Fitzgerald and Breaston are useless when your QB cant throw the ball. And ARI cant rely on their RBs this week either, going up against the 2nd toughest team in the NFL to run on, allowing just over 70 yards per game on the ground. Expect a big day out of both SEA running backs as Marshawn Lynch has his coming out party against the weak Cardinal front.

Got 5 WRs and need to start 3 in a PPR league:

Brandon Lloyd, Miles Austin, Mike Williams (TB), Deion Branch, and Danario Alexander.

Also, what’s your take on Steve Smith (Car) this week? Back to his old form?

    Thanks – You’re officially getting bookmarked 🙂

    • Austin, Lloyd, Williams.
Probably not the most popular picks, but i dont like Branch this week against a tough SD defense. I think Welker, Woodhead and Hernandez get more work.

I think that This week is a good one for Smith, but he was definitely on my Do Not Draft board at the beginning of the season. He’ll put up numbers just because he is extremely talented, but until they get a legit QB in there, he is a WR 3 at best.

Thanks for the bookmark, glad you like what you see. spread the word. good luck
